About Me

My name is Alex Cawkwell and I was born in England (2nd August 1996).  My up bringing was not the best. This was down to My mother passing away when I was only four years old, Battling with multiple heath conditions and abusive from a number of people. (mentally and physically) up until the day I left home, on the day after my 19th birthday. Makeup was my safe space to help me with my mental health and to stop me from dissociating. Over the years I began to realise that makeup was NOT just for “glam” makeup, you could create out of this world creations too.  

After spending years practicing looks, I finally found the confidence to join college to become qualified and gain more knowledge on the beauty industry. I also have a passion in theatre and also the art of drag and tend to use a fair amount of the skills and techniques that they use, in my pieces. 

In the future I do hope to have some kind of job within the beauty industry even if it is just self employment. If nothing happens then I will still continue to create. This is one passion I can safely say I will never give up.
